ISOTRAK

The ISOTRAK II tracking system consists basically of: Electronic Unit, Transmitter and  Receiver.  It uses electromagnetic fields to determine the position and orientation of a remote object. The technology is based on generating near field, low frequency, magnetic field vectors from a single assembly of three co-located, stationary antennas called transmitter, and detecting the field vectors with a single assembly of three co-located, remote sensing antennas called receiver. The sensed signals are input to a mathematical algorithm that computes the receiver's positions and orientation relative to the transmitter.

 

Optotrak

The Optotrak system is a versatile and precise 3D measurement device. An infrared optical tracker that tracks up to 256 markers with each marker identified automatically. The 3D data can be obtained with RMS accuracies to 0.1 mm and resolutions to 0.01 mm. This system consists of:

  1. Optotrak/3020 3D motion measurement system
  2. Optotrak analogue data acquisition unit II
  3. Data analysis package software(DAP)
  4. Application programmer's interface
  5. Accelerated processing/extended buffering option
  6. 6-Channel strober

 

Flock of Birds

A modular tracker with 6 DOF for simultaneously tracking the position and orientation of >1 receivers (targets) over a specified range. Motions are tracked to accuracies of 0.5 degrees and 0.01 inch at rates up to 144 Hz. It employs pulsed DC magnetic fields to locate its receivers relative to the transmitter position. This system consists of:
